Cool Stuff!!

I recently went to a shop hop!  It was called the Tour de Quilt here in Northern/Central Virginia.  Here is their website address for the whole shop hop:  http://www.tourdequilt.com/

I want to give a shout out to the quilt shops that I was able to visit.  Check them out and Check out their websites!

That Little Quilt Shop:  http://www.thatlittlequiltshop.com/ - I LOVED this quilt shop...it is in an old 1800s church.  The fabrics very well displayed according to theme throughout the two story building. They have many lines, my favorite Moda and are Tin Lizzie dealers.

Quilter's Corner: http://www.quilterscornerva.com/contact/ - This was a nice shop...they had two Gammill longarms working at one time in a classroom off the side of the fabric/book/notion store part.  I got the distinct feeling that they do not like Innova, but my Mommy taught me that if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all...so that is all I will say : D.

Milestone Quilts:  http://www.millstonequilts.com/  - I have to admit that this doesn't look like much on the website, but you HAVE to go there!  It is by a little creek and inside it is an old historic Mill with some of the mill parts still visible.  It is well displayed and I found LOTS of cool stuff that I didn't see anywhere else.  My fav purchase there was my wool batting.  It almost looks Trapunto when you longarm it and I can't wait to post the results!!!

I apologize that I didn't take more pics, I will definately take more next time.  I think I am going on another shop hop around here very soon!

Laters!
