FREE Book Giveaway!!! Still All Scrapped Out by Penni Domikis

Whooo hooo!!!  I am so thrilled to be giving away the new book by Penni Domikis!!!  Her new book is called Still All Scrapped Out and it is marvelous!!! (I know beause I quilted the quilts in the book : D).  Penni's style is very conversational and easy to follow, I know this because I have her first book and made the quilts.  However, the best of all is that the patterns use your scraps!!  Who isn't looking for something to do with their scraps????  To enter go to my website:  www.lizbquilting.com and sign the guestbook.  I will do the drawing on March 15, 2012 and announce the winner as well as send out an e-mail to everyone.  For more info on the book and Penni go to www.cabininthewoodsquilters.com  and check it out!

Here is what the cover looks like !

My Newest Masterpiece!!!

I recently got to quilt the quilts for an upcoming book from Penni Domikis of Cabin in the Woods Quilers  http://cabininthewoodsquilters.com/.  This is her second book and she has several others in the works.  I LOVE her books and I can't wait to make several of her quilts from this second book.  I don't want to spoil the surprise before her book comes out around March 10, 2012...so I am doing this fun teaser of the backs - Check it out!!!

I love thread almost as much as I like fabric!  I used a different variagated or solid thread from Superior, King Tut line of thread: http://www.superiorthreads.com/ .  I used a tulip pattern that I think look more likes a water lily...so I put a maze pattern around it, so it looks like water.
