You can liven up a 1600 quilt with some interesting stitching!!! The 1600 quilt is made from a jelly roll (2 1/2" strips)...you sew them end to end and cut them in half until they end up rectangular. The maker of the quilt told me that it was for a family reunion in the North Carolina Mountains...my inspiration was North Carolina Mountains Family Reunion. I think it came out pretty cool...can you see the trees, deer, moose and bears? It was lots of fun and now I want to make one!!! What do you think???
