I recently got to stitch for a really great friend of mine. She makes the most beautiful quilts - so I LOVE to quilt them!!! She likes tight quilts with smaller stictches and smaller patterns - in other words lots of stitching. Here they are...
The first was a black, red and tan that we decided to do black thread with a fern quilting pattern...
This one is also on my website...www.lizbquilting.com
The next one was a batik one with circles in squares quilt pattern that we decided to do a variagated pink/purple shiny thread in a fern/fan quilting pattern (I LOVE it !!!)
This one is made out of Fairy Dust fabrics in a pretty geometric pattern...Alicia wanted roundy pattern with movement - so she picked this one (out of the few that I sent to her for this quilt). I think it came out GREAT!!!

Wow! Do you do all this stitching by hand? It's gorgeous!
Oh how I wish I had the talent and patience to do this. Beautiful work.
Hi Sue...I WISH I could do that all by hand...I have a very large and wonderful longarm sewing machine with a computer that actually stitches (I just tell it what, how, where and with what to stitch : D).
Liz, These are so beautiful! The patience and care that goes into these are evident. Great work!!
You do amazing work! I did wonder if you did all of this by hand, and you solved the mystery when you replied to Sue's comment. :)
What beautiful work! My great-grandmother quilted and now we have a beautiful legacy for the family. Thanks for sharing!
